Sri Lanka has two main “wind” seasons which makes for great sailing holidays to gain the best of every month.
Summer – wind is from the South West which gives great wind with sheltered coasts on the East side of the Island and to the North.
Winter – wind is from the North East which gives great wind and sheltered coasts “Down South” and on the west side of the island.

- West Coast: from November to April
- North Coast: from November to April
- East coast: from May to October
